Care

Caring for 100% Merino Wool
Evening tailoring in fine merino, finished with satin. Treated gently, it stays ready for every occasion.

• Rest between wears: hang it on a broad, shaped hanger and give it 24 hours. Merino’s natural spring lets creases fall out by themselves.
• Brush, don’t wash: a soft clothes brush, used downward after each wear, lifts dust and keeps the cloth fresh.
• Protect the satin: never press or iron the satin lapels and trimmings directly. A light steam from a distance is all they need.
• Dry clean sparingly: only after an event that calls for it, with a specialist tailoring cleaner who handles evening wear.
• Store it to breathe: keep it in a breathable cotton garment bag with cedar, away from light so the black stays deep.
